PURIN
HILL
When
we visited Purin Hill we not only got great reception of Kingdom FM, of
course, but also Forth 1 on 97.3 from nearby Craigkelly, which can be
seen from this site, and from Penicuick on 102.2, 102.5 Clyde 1 and
Saga 105.2 from Black Hill, 103.1 Central FM from Earls Hill, Tay FM
from Angus on 102.8 and Perth 96.4, Heartland FM from the little
transmitter at Faire Mhor - Pitlochry, Radio Borders on 96.8 and Q96 on
96.3 FM from Paisley, and many many other stations too.

In
the shot above, and the one below, the aerials used by the FM station
can be clearly seen on the right hand side, just below the large round
white microwave aerial. These FM aerials comprise two horizontal
dipoles mounted ninety degrees apart, with a single vertical dipole
mounted centrally between them.
The pair DAB radio aerials, used by Score Dundee and Perth, can also be
clearly seen on the left hand side just above a pair of round microwave
aerials.
