NEW YEAR RESOLUTION
New
Year Resolutions are notoriously difficult to keep, but here is one
that you MUST do right now
AND
what's more you must keep to it - religiously!
If you must use the Microsoft Windows operating system on your PC you ABSOLUTELY MUST have an anti-virus package installed. If you don't have anti-virus installed do it - today. It is THE most important piece of software that you will ever buy - bar none. If you do have an anti-virus package installed make sure that it is Up To Date. Update the virus definitions at least every week and scan your system regularly for viruses. Be aware also that you may have a package installed that has expired and needs renewing with the software vendor. Do It Today - NO - DO IT NOW, it may cost £20 but it WILL save you £100's in repair costs and down time. Microsoft Windows is so vunerable to malicious viruses that without a current and up to date anti-virus package it is only a matter of time before your PC is crippled by a virus, it may already have one lurking in the background now without you knowing it - so get an anti-virus package and remove it today. In the mean time never open an unsolicited e-mail from any sender that you do not know and trust and be careful about the type of websites visited as they can download viruses to your computer. Fortunately I do not have to worry about these expensive and troublesome precautions as my pc is free of Microsoft Windows and instead runs on Linux. |
